Welcome to 'The Body in Service of Drama'
We use basic elements of dance, dramatic corporeal mime technique and etude to prepare actors physically, in order for their bodies to be able to respond to the demands of their imagination in service of performance.
Theoretical basis

Along with practice, we rely on a strong theoretical basis we call 'the three pillars'. It is mainly founded on the works of three men who dedicated their lives to performing arts: Edward Gordon Craig, Etienne Decroux and Rudolf Laban.
Objectives
  • create body awareness
  • enable technically the actor’s body
  • prepare physically the actor for the dramatic action
  • express creativity through the use of the body
  • develop improvisation skills
  • enable the actor to compose physical scores they can refer to
  • perform a show
